This year our Annual Charity Golf Tournament is poised to break the $10,000 mark
in total support of the Soup for the Soul program!
This annual event takes place at the Greens at Renton
Golf & Country Club in Simcoe, Ontario. People can contribute by
donating money or prizes, playing in the tournament or sponsoring a hole through
their business.
The tournament is on Monday, August 27, 2012 (Shot-Gun start at 10:30) at the Greens at
Renton. The cost to golf is $110/player and includes: a tournament best-ball
round of golf, cart, balls, tees, games, a wonderful dinner
in the dining hall, and an awards table. You will receive a tax receipt as
a donation to the Soup for the Soul program.

To qualify for the Early Bird Draw, your registration must be received by July 15th, 2012. The Early Bird winner will be announced at the tournament and will receive a prize of a gift certificate from The Keg for $100.
It looks like we will
be selling out completely this year at the 144-player mark. We
have had some amazing donations
this year for prizes and sponsorships!

Our Soup for the Soul
There is a never-ending list of worthwhile charities and golf tournaments - but
seldom the union of the two of the best. The Soup for
the Soul program is a non-profit group operating out of St. Andrew's
United Church, providing support in our own community every single week. We
have had a lot of fun in the past and this is our
4th annual golf tournament, and the funds go a long way to helping our program
run throughout the year. All funds will be used to maintain the program so we
may continue providing vital services such as means, healthcare for the
near-homeless and programs for children's literacy.
Like all charity-related tournaments, we rely on support from the community for
prizes and donations which as very much appreciated.

Our Course
The Greens at Renton is a
challenging 27 hole club - featuring a championship 6260 yard championship 18.
The club has gone through major reconstruction over the past years including
the addition of nine new lakes and a new 30,000 square foot clubhouse facility.
